Letters to Lonny

Letters to Lonny

As you know, Lonny has recently been diagnosed with health issues. Many people have asked, what can we do for Lonny?  At this time, Lonny is not feeling up to visitors, so another way to send good vibes to Lonny had to be thought of.  JoAnn, the wife of former Otter Brandon Bohn, has thought of a sentimental and meaningful way for everyone to communicate with Lonny.

JoAnn’s idea is for everyone to write a letter to Lonny. This should not be a typed letter, but a letter written by hand with paper and pencil or pen or markers. This may include misspelled words, grammatical errors, or drawings -all things that show the true you and how you feel about Lonny! These letters will allow for everyone to talk to Lonny and tell him whatever they want. He will be able to keep these letters close to him and read them whenever he wants, as much as he wants.

All you have to do is find your favorite pen or pencil and get a piece of paper and start writing. Once you’re done, please put it in a sealed envelope and give it to Coach Scott.  He will take all of the letters to JoAnn, as she is going to put them together before giving them to Lonny and his family.  Please spread the word of this letter writing - the more letters there are to give Lonny, the better!

Lonny has had a huge impact on so many lives; it is now our turn to make an impact on his. Fill his mind with those who love and care for him through your words and colorful drawings!
